PLANNING LAWYER WITH FOLLOWING - BRISTOL

Expanding regional 4 office firm with an open and friendly culture and a vibrant work ethic has a vacancy for a Planning Solicitor/Barrister with 2 - 5 years PQE in their Bristol office.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The purpose of the role is to support and participate in the successful growth of the firm's highly rated and integrated Commercial Property Team. Fundamental to the team's growth is their strategic commitment and focus on commercial property sectors and areas of work.

The specific role of this candidate will be to support the planning requirement of the Commercial Property and Construction teams, and to develop a recognised planning practice. The successful candidate will have a following and proven ability to develop a planning practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic planning advice.
Keep team/clients updated on legal developments.
Negotiate and amend Section 106 and other Planning Agreements.
Advise on planning applications, refusals and appeals.
Advise on Environmental law.
Provide guidance on Local Authority social housing requirements.
Advise on Enforcement Notices and Appeals.
