Job Description : |
A well-established law firm is seeking a Construction Fee Earner based at their Manchester office. You will handle you own caseload of Construction and Engineering projects, both contentious and non-contentious work and undertake appropriate management of client relationships. The team acts for a wide range of clients including developers, banks, local authorities and other public bodies, educational establishments, major national and international organisations. Day-to-day responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating contract documentation, advising on contract structures, running adjudications, arbitrations and litigations and conducting negotiations. You will have the opportunity to work with senior members of the team on major transactions and disputes, many of which have a national and international element. You will also be involved in business development opportunities and events.
We envisage that the successful candidate will possess at least 1 year's experience (PQE); however, we will accept applications from candidates of all levels of experience, which are able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the role. The ideal candidate will be a Fee Earner with experience in handling own caseload of Construction matters, both contentious and non-contentious work. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be enthusiastic and have a good team ethic. |
