An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Cost Draftsman/Negotiator to join the Industrial Disease department of this well-established law firm based in Reading, Berkshire. The role will involve dealing with the preparation of bills through to settlement, handling own caseload. Duties would also include the negotiation of costs and settlements, drafting schedules and costs bills for industrial disease cases.
You will be an experienced Law Costs Draftsperson who has gained a wealth of quality experience dealing with multi-track cases; have technical knowledge of current cost issues and a strong understanding of CPR and recent case law. Candidates will be hardworking and conscientious, with a keen eye for attention to detail and good negotiating skills. You will have a tenacious attitude towards recovery of costs and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
