Very well established law firm based in north Manchester require a Law Costs Negotiator/Draftsperson to add to their expanding team. The role will involve dealing with the preparation of files through to settlement, handling your own caseload. Duties will also include the negotiation of costs and settlements and drafting schedules and civil cost bills for personal injury, commercial and some family cases.
Candidates should have a strong technical knowledge of current cost issues and a strong understanding of CPR. Systems are computerised, so a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and case management is essential. Candidates need to be hard working and conscientious, with an eye for detail and possess good negotiating skills.
