Personal Injury Claims Handler specifically to handle allocated motor personal injury claims ensuring they are settled in the most cost-effective way through proactive claims management methods. Takes full instructions from the client and refers appropriate claims, complaints or suspected fraud in accordance with company procedures. Liaises with third parties, third party insurers, loss adjusters and solicitors as necessary and provides instructions to claims inspectors, suppliers and other experts when necessary. Also liaises with underwriting departments in communicating information relative to risk management and operates the claims computer system according to the current departmental practice.
